Volunteers needed!

Cub Scout Pack 90 operates entirely through volunteers who use their time to provide the Cub Scout program.  Volunteers are needed on a regular basis.  To offer to volunteer with Pack 90, please contact our cubmaster, James Feuerstein at poconopinespack90@gmail.com.  A packet describing the requirements to volunteer can be found here.

 

To become an adult leader in Pack 90:

Volunteers must obtain background clearances, submit an adult leader application (just pages 3 & 15), and complete Youth Protection Training for their positions (on http://my.scouting.org).  Leaders will also have to complete the training for their position prior to recharter, either online or in person.

Volunteers must secure and provide the following clearances:

 

Report of Criminal History from the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP), (free), 10-15 minutes: epatch.state.pa.us/Home.jsp

 

Child Abuse History Clearance from the Department of Human Services, (free), 20-30 minutes: www.compass.state.pa.us/cwis/public/hom

 

Fingerprint based FBI criminal history clearance submitted through the Department of Human Services, $27.50, 5-10 minutes online and 10-15 minutes at the fingerprinting location: www.pa.cogentid.com/index_dpwNew.htm

Volunteers who have resided in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for the past 10 years, can submit a Disclosure Statement for Volunteers in lieu of the Fingerprint based FBI Clearance: Disclosure Statement & Waiver Application for FBI Background Check for volunteers
